Apply through the Become a Lead Trader page on nomotrade.com. To qualify, your account must meet the required conditions, including at least Bronze loyalty level and a minimum number of closed trades. Once eligible, your profile becomes visible on the public Leaderboard, where other clients can choose to copy your trades. Lead Traders may earn performance fees on copied profits, calculated using the High Water Mark model.
Eligibility
Verified nomo account in good standing.
Trading history that demonstrates consistent risk management
Willingness to be public — your strategy details, performance, and trades are visible (anonymised by display name) on the Leaderboard.
Steps to apply
1. Visit the Become a Lead Trader page on nomotrade.com.
2. Submit your application. We review your trading history and risk profile.
3. If approved, set up your Lead Trader profile: display name, strategy description, target instruments, risk level you self-classify as.
4. Your account is now visible on the Leaderboard. Followers can choose to copy you.
5. Continue trading as you normally would. Copied trades are mirrored to followers automatically.
How earnings work
You earn performance fees from copied profits under the High Water Mark model. This means fees are generated only when new profits exceed the previous highest profit level. If a follower’s copied account is in drawdown, no additional performance fees are earned from that follower until the losses are recovered. Earned fees accumulate in the Lead Trader’s copy fee balance and can be transferred to the main account balance at any time.
Important notes
Followers see your historical performance, including drawdowns. Your reputation depends on consistency, not just on big wins.
Lead Traders are not approved or endorsed by nomo as financial advisors. You publish your trades; followers choose to copy at their own risk.
Pre-existing positions you have at the moment a follower starts copying you are not retroactively replicated to their account. Only trades opened after they subscribe are mirrored.
If your strategy changes materially (different instruments, different leverage, different timeframes), update your profile. Followers who chose you for one style may want to know.
Lead Trader status can be revoked for violations — abusive trading, market manipulation, or sustained losses that suggest the strategy is no longer suitable for copying.
